Spurge

I have forgotten your name too many times
So I now have a name game to remember
You and your sticky milky poisonous insides.
Your flower is a lovely bunch of bracts, not a true flower, but you
have us all fooled with the bounteous rosette of yellow lime leaves
teeny tiny yellow petal bracts up high masquerading as blooms atop your milky stems
your official name Eurphorbius I won’t even attempt to remember;
however, I will never forget your lovely splurging shine into my spring this year.
