unreasonable tears

Hundreds of reasons wait at the edges of the mind for a chance to

Jump in and explain the existence of a tear

When sought, reasons can always be found, but that is later after this tear fall and

Therefore it would be unreasonable to pin those tears on these new thoughts

These new thoughts simply could not be the precipitating factors

These salty drops stream down for no reason.

These are the unreasonable tears.

The ones that move in without signing a lease.

Creating stream-beds on my cheeks

crossing streets without waiting for the walk signal.
