My Honeybee

I would love to be still,
As if I were not here,
and yet, still hearing, seeing,
Tasting the kisses from you
That close my jabbering mouth.

My beating heart goes soft.
You fill me, heal me.
You being you, calms me
into a glassy lake.
You are the wind whispering
Breath on my skin, making gentle ripples.

Holding me Solid you speak
and calm my fluttering beats.
Your powerful hand squeezing my arm
Strong as as a wedding band.
My heart rejoices to hear you tell
the days and ways Your thoughts, feelings,
and actions come to me as if you were
dropping pollen in my hive.
